We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be assisting pharmacy team to lead and support various NHS Services. He/she will be responsible on driving forward service existing and newely commissioned by NHS and private.
The successful candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient wellbeing within a professional and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Run and lead all the essential, advance and private services by contacting patient.
To commssion new services.
Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
Assist with medication administration and provide guidance to patients regarding their prescriptions
Maintain precise records of medication inventory, prescriptions, and patient interactions
Support the pharmacy team in managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering medication-related advice within scope of practice
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and pharmacy protocols
Handle administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims and updating patient information
Requirements
NVQ LEVEL 3 IS A MUST
Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or similar role within a healthcare setting
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Must be registered or eligible for registration with the relevant professional body (if applicable)
A caring attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care
