Pharmacy Technician
to join our expanding prescribing team. About the Role
As part of our clinical pharmacy team, you'll help improve the quality and safety of prescribing and support medicines optimisation across the practice. You'll play a key role in medicines reconciliation, patient support, audit work, and reducing prescribing workload for GPs.
Key Responsibilities
Support safe, effective prescribing and medicines optimisation
Provide advice to clinicians and patients on medicines queries
Carry out medicines reconciliation and clinical audits
Contribute to prescribing safety and local enhanced services work
Liaise with community, hospital, and ICB pharmacy teams
Essential Requirements
BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills (or equivalent)
Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience
Strong knowledge of medicines optimisation, pharmacy law, and NHS primary care
Desirable
Medicines Optimisation training or CPPE Primary Care Pathway
Experience in GP practice, hospital, or ICB pharmacy roles
