Pharmacy Technician - Mercheford House, March, Cambridgeshire

We are looking for an

experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician

to join our professional and welcoming team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a passion for providing high-quality pharmacy services in a supportive primary care environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Partners and wider Practice team to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines. You will play a key role in managing repeat prescriptions, supporting medication reviews, liaising with patients and pharmacies, and assisting with medicines reconciliation following hospital discharges.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinating and processing repeat prescriptions in line with Practice policy Supporting medication reviews and medicines reconciliation Communicating effectively with patients, carers, and local pharmacies Assisting with audits and prescribing initiatives to promote safe and cost-effective prescribing Supporting clinicians with medicines management and ensuring accurate record keeping

What we're looking for:

GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician Excellent organisational and communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to prioritise workload and work both independently and as part of a team A flexible and proactive approach to supporting the needs of the Practice
Full and Part-Time considered, and flexibility to cover when required is essential.
