Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently Manage medication inventories, including stock replenishment and expiry date checks Provide medication administration support under supervision, ensuring correct dosages and patient instructions Offer exceptional patient care by answering queries, providing medication information, and supporting adherence to treatment plans Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, medication logs, and patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy environment Support administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims, billing, and maintaining patient records

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment GPHC Registration as a Pharmacy Technician A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
