Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Vaccinator to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in administering vaccinations to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. This position requires a strong background in patient care, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Administer vaccinations to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. Monitor patients post-vaccination for any adverse reactions and provide appropriate care as needed. Maintain accurate records of vaccinations administered, including patient information and vaccine details. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Educate patients about vaccines, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining a clean and organised vaccination area. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on vaccination protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a vaccinator is highly desirable. Strong communication skills,. Attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols is crucial for this role. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
