Phlebotomist Vacancy at Henley-in-Arden Medical Centre

We are a busy semi-rural practice located in the charming town of Henley-in-Arden with a list size of 6600 patients and growing.

We are a friendly and supportive GP training practice with 6 GPs, 3 practice nurses, 2 phlebotomists and a full complement of PCN staff including: clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technician, social prescribers, first contact practitioner & care home care co-ordinator. We have a full time Practice Manager and a shared Business Manager.

We have 3 GP trainers and can host up to 5 GP trainees at any one time. We also host medical students from Warwick University and have just been awarded GP Practice of the Year for excellent student teaching.

Team working and peer support is at the heart of what we do with support offered by way of daily clinical meetings, in additional to monthly safeguarding, quality and team meetings.

We are an active partner in our PCN which comprises of 7 local practices, and we work towards sharing additional roles staff and resources to support greater achievement and resilience for all.

Our mission is to provide an excellent service with outstanding care to our patients, and to provide a supportive, productive, and rewarding environment for our staff. We have a high QOF achievement, are rated Good by CQC and are highly rated on the annual GP survey.

The clinical system we use is EMIS web.

We are looking for a part-time phlebotomist to join our team. The candidate

must have

at least 1 year working phlebotomy experience and ideally experience of working in general practice.

The role will be permanent and for 3 mornings per week, 13.5 hours per week. The salary is 12.21 per hour.
