Duties

Capture professional photographs in diverse environments, including events, portraits, and commercial shoots. Edit and retouch images using Adobe Photoshop and Capture One to achieve the desired aesthetic. Manage photo editing workflows efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality images. Utilise Adobe Creative Suite tools to create engaging visual content for marketing materials, social media, and websites. Coordinate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver tailored photographic solutions. Maintain and organise photographic equipment, ensuring all gear is in optimal condition for shoots. Assist in planning and executing photo shoots, including setting up lighting and backdrops as needed. Contribute to social media management by creating captivating visual content that enhances online engagement. Support video editing tasks using Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro when required, producing short videos or promotional clips. Stay updated on current photography trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and output quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in professional photography with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across different styles. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite, and Final Cut Pro. Strong skills in photo editing, retouching, colour correction, and composition. Experience with social media management and creating content tailored for various platforms. Knowledge of journalism principles related to visual storytelling is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Creative flair combined with attention to detail to produce visually compelling images that meet client expectations. Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
