We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP and experience in Laravel, Vue and Inertia. You will be working alongside our Lead Developer on a new and exciting project.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality features on time. Write clean, maintainable code across both backend and frontend. Collaborate closely with the team in an Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) environment. Participate in code reviews and sprint planning. Proactively identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and bottlenecks.

Tech Stack

PHP with a strong focus on the Laravel framework Vue.js with Inertia.js (React experience also considered) RESTful APIs and full-stack application architecture Git (proficient) Familiarity with Agile processes (SCRUM, Kanban)

The Role:

Collaborate with a friendly, experienced team in a supportive, agile environment. Take ownership of smaller-scale bespoke projects, from planning through to deployment, with guidance from the

Lead Dev

. Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to both backend and frontend development. Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and ongoing product improvement discussions.
Tech Stack / Skills Needed:

At least

2 years' commercial experience

in a software development role. Solid backend development skills using

PHP

, with

Laravel

framework experience. Frontend skills with either

Vue.js

or

React

. Strong understanding of

full-stack application architecture

and

RESTful APIs

. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Must be

able to work from the Newmarket office as and when required.
