We are working with a growing Software Development business near Liverpool who are looking for a PHP Developer to join their team.
This PHP Developer role will see you designing, building and maintaining saleable, high-performance backend systems. You will be working closely with Front-end developers, product managers and other PHP Developers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain APIs and backend systems using PHP and Laravel
Refactor and support legacy PHP codebases
Write clean, testable, and modular code following best practices
Optimize database queries and backend logic for performance
Implement secure authentication and data access
Integrate APIs with front-end teams for seamless UX
Perform unit, feature, and integration testing
Requirements:
2+ years of backend development experience with PHP and Laravel Proficient in SQL (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and query optimization TDD experience Happy to work in the office for probation before moving to Hybrid (3 days onsite) Full right to work in the UK Driving Licence & Car
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
