About the job
The Get Active team in partnership with Nottingham West Primary Care Network have created an exercise referral scheme for people with low level mental health and/or complex physical health issues. Due to the successful development of the scheme, Liberty Leisure Limited are looking for an active lifestyles instructor to deliver the scheme and support clients through their journey to become healthier and happier.
Who do we want to work with us?
A friendly, proactive person who has experience of and enjoys working with people will thrive in this role. Someone with excellent communication skills and experience of working with people with low level mental health difficulties and complex physical health conditions is desirable.
Having experience of working within a gym environment and holding an exercise referral specialist qualification is essential.
Having experience of guiding people in using gym equipment to suit each individual in a safe and effective manner, while using technology to assist such as Tanita and Egym.
Having experience of computer-based administration and ensuring correct data storage regulations are adhered to.
Working Environment
The job will involve working as a wider part of a team linking with partners and other members of the Liberty Leisure Limited team. The post holder will be based at Stapleford Community Pavillion, but with possibilities of working at Chilwell Olympia, Bramcote Leisure Centre and Greasley Sports and Community Centre. In addition, the post holder may be required to work in community settings. Working hours are subject to change with the needs of the business.

Salary Grade 4 13.22 to 13.85ph
The proposed hours of work are: Monday 9am-1pm and Friday 9am-1pm. Although may be some flexibility in this.
Initially 28 day's annual leave per year, pro rata, plus bank holidays.
