Actual salary: 22,094 - 23,923 per annum (FTE: 26,141 - 28,305)

37 hours per week - Term time only

Fixed Term until 23rd July 2026 due to funding

Required to start as soon as possible

We are seeking a dedicated Sport & Physical Activity Assistant to join our SHAPE Team to support the delivery of inter-school competitions and events across all key stage, from Reception to Sixth Form, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant educational setting while making a real difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:Assist in the planning, setup, and delivery of inter-school sports competitions and physical activity events Support inclusive participation across all age groups and abilities, including SEN students Help facilitate and deliver our leadership programme for young people, empowering students to develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills Work collaboratively with PE staff, external coaches, and school leaders to ensure safe, engaging, and well-organized activities Promote positive attitudes towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles

What We're Looking ForEnthusiastic and energetic team player with a genuine interest in sport and youth development Experience working with children and young people, ideally in a school or community setting Understanding of inclusive practices and a commitment to supporting SEN students Strong communication and organisational skills Willingness to travel between schools and work flexibly during events
