Start ASAP (part time role available).

- DBS check required and will be provided by Grassroots Sports Academy.

- Sports coaching experience and/or studies of sports related courses desirable.

- Must be keen to learn, develop and progress their development through Grassroots Sports Academy.

- Has a passion for getting people physically active and to make a difference in their community

The ideal person for this role will be working within the partnership across organisations and groups to work with communities and help put in place the conditions for people to move more for better physical and mental health. This role will be made up from different aspects all in the aim to support the bigger project which is increasing physical activity levels in Barnsley.

This role will work collaboratively as part of the Active in Barnsley partnership approach to increasing physical activity levels in Barnsley. As one of 4 Anchor providers ( Sport and Physical Activity Team, Barnsley Fc, GSA & BPL ) you will be working across the borough in a first of its kind collaboration partnership, the role itself will be focusing on some key elements below. You will be required to have training / development days to help aid support in what we are all trying to achieve and the expectations when it comes to monitoring and evaluation.

The role will be split between office work and delivery; this person would be responsible for.

Marketing and promotion on this program Delivery and management of the program as a whole Administration task Support across the whole team as and when needed Hours may vary dependent on program needs and requirement
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
