to enhance the physical conditioning and performance of First Team players. The role includes delivering football-specific strength and conditioning programs and contributing to player fitness and development.
Key Responsibilities
Attend First Team training and matchdays to deliver warm-ups, conditioning, and gym sessions.
Design and implement tailored strength and conditioning programs for individuals and the team.
Collaborate on return-to-play fitness planning and injury prevention strategies.
Track and monitor physical performance metrics and adapt programs accordingly.
Support the development of performance placement students and interns.
Promote player wellbeing and contribute to a high-performance environment.
Work collaboratively with coaching and medical staff to optimise performance.
Uphold safeguarding practices for all players.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
BSc in Sports Therapy, Sports Science, or related field (Essential)
Level 3 Personal Training or completion of UKSCA S&C Trainer Course
FA Safeguarding Workshop completed
Experience in a high-performance sporting environment
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Valid FA Enhanced DBS (CRB)
