Movement Medicine Somerset are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Physiotherapist or private Rehabilitation Assistant to join our community based private physiotherapy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting patients in their own homes and on their recovery journey. Assisting with therapeutic activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in patient care and rehabilitation across all areas. This is a private community based role and covers Weston super mare and areas with a 10 mile radius. therefore your own car is a requirement.

This is a self employed with zero contract hours, and is most suited to someone who requires a flexible working schedule. But also dedicated to the roll of a physiotherapist and goes the extra mile. This is a self employed job role, and would suit those who like to set their own schedule and work in the community on their own. You will be supported by Charlotte, the company owner to enhance your skills and progress your career in private practice.

Responsibilities



Implement rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs. Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring they are comfortable and motivated. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. Maintain accurate records of patient activities and progress as required. Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is clean and ready for use. Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises and techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and safety at all times.

Qualifications



Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Previous experience in a hospital or private clinical or community setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with paediatric care practices is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and patience. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping. Car is essential Access to internet and online system provided for note taking, therefore IT skills are required. HCPC and CSP registration with own insurance.
