We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano playing singing Teacher to join our APA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality piano and vocal instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. Duties
Develop customised lesson plans tailored to each student's ability, goals, and learning style
Deliver engaging and effective piano lessons, ensuring students progress in technique, theory, and musicality
Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
Prepare students for performances, exams, or competitions as appropriate
Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters confidence and enjoyment of music
Keep accurate records of lessons, attendance, and progress reports
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development and upcoming events
Stay updated with current teaching methods and incorporate innovative approaches into lessons
Skills
Proven proficiency in playing the piano with a solid understanding of music theory and performance techniques
Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for new teachers
Excellent communication skills to motivate students of all ages and backgrounds
Organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and track student progress
Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for music education
Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual student needs
A recognised qualification in music or piano performance is preferred but not mandatory
