Piano Teacher
to join our team. While we welcome all piano specialists,
a background in jazz piano
is especially desirable. The role involves one-to-one tuition in students' homes, online, or from your own teaching space if local. Our SE22 location may also be available, subject to scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Teach piano to a range of ages and skill levels
Tailor lessons to each student's goals (exams, auditions, or personal development)
Introduce or develop improvisation and jazz styles where appropriate
Prepare students for ABRSM/Trinity exams and performances
Use our Music Portal to manage scheduling, lesson notes, and communication
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' teaching experience
Strong jazz background
Degree in music or equivalent (preferred)
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Based in or near SE London, or able to teach online
