Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating children and the ability to communicate effectively with students of various backgrounds. This role involves providing personalised tutoring sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, including those with special educational requirements. The chosen candidate would start with teaching on a Saturday morning, then more days would be added after. Currently wanting a Piano tutor Saturdays 9am-3pm.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one Piano lessons Develop and implement customised lesson plans that align with students' educational goals. Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including attendance and progress reports. Stay informed about best practices in education and special education to enhance tutoring effectiveness.

Experience

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children, is highly desirable, but not essential. Familiarity with special education strategies is an advantage, enabling you to support students with diverse learning needs. Strong communication skills are essential for conveying complex concepts in an understandable manner. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience for all students is crucial.
