Part Time Piano/Keyboard Tutor

We are looking for a part time Piano Tutor who is available to teach between 9am-5pm on Saturdays and optionally weekdays between 2pm-8pm.

There are lessons waiting to go straight away. Your hours will grow as more students get allocated to you. It can take time but most of the Tutors here have built full days of 8-10 lessons throughout the week. You may also get opportunities to cover other tutors lessons for holiday/sick cover. You are free to accept or turn down additional work.

You will be working on a self employed basis, and are paid a rate of 11 per half an hour lesson taught.

The successful candidate must be able to read sheet music and be familiar with at least one of the relevant examining bodies (ABRSM, Rockschool, Trinity).
Grade 8 qualification is preferable but not essential as long as the candidate can show they are able to play at that level and beyond, alongside previous teaching experence.

We value consistency but also encourage autonomy. Pick your own hours on the days there is a room available for you. You will be free to take whatever holiday you choose, we just ask for reasonable notice of abscences (at least 1 week) so that customers can be made aware in advance.

A current DBS check is required.
