The Role:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Picker and Packer with warehouse experience to join our CPU team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, wellness-led catering environment, ensuring accurate order fulfilment and efficient warehouse operations to support our daily client deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the actions and decisions of Management in daily warehouse operations Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to order specifications and delivery schedules Ensure all items are correctly labelled, packaged, and prepared for dispatch Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled safely and securely Receive, check, and unpack deliveries, verifying accuracy against delivery notes Organise and store stock correctly in designated warehouse areas, refrigerators, and freezers Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stocktaking when required Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy, and organised, ensuring efficient workflow Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, hand trucks) safely and according to procedures Comply fully with Health & Safety regulations, including food safety, hygiene standards, and manual handling procedures Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear appropriate protective clothing Communicate effectively with kitchen team, drivers, and management regarding stock levels and order requirements Work efficiently to meet daily dispatch deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy

About You:

Previous experience as a Picker and Packer in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential Experience in food production, catering, or temperature-controlled warehouse environments is highly desirable Knowledge of Pow Food's philosophy and passion for supporting workplace wellbeing Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and Health & Safety regulations Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items safely Organised, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Professional, reliable, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
