Summary:
We are pleased to offer vacancies for PUD Drivers to work with our DPD franchise at York.
Positions available are standard Monday to Friday or rota'd 4 on 3 off, collecting and delivering parcels across our Bridlington YO15 and YO16 routes. Ideal candidates would be local to this area as there may be no requirement to return on a daily basis provided the route is completed.
Where we provide a vehicle, insurances and fuel card [at no cost], drivers can expect to earn 120 per day based on 100-110 stops / 9 hour route, and have the opportunity to earn more by taking on additional work.
Where applicants supply their own van, they can expect to earn an average stop rate of 2.05 per successful collection or delivery (variable based on postcode, consignment size, and weight).

About the Role:
Our Pick-Up & Delivery (PUD) drivers truly are the 'face' of our company, committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences and market leading service while championing our values in every interaction.
We're trusted to get our customer's freight to its destination on time, every time - around the corner or across the globe, and we pride ourselves on delivering market leading service for our clients.
Your Responsibilities:
- Complete appropriate vehicle safety checks in line with DVSA standards for commercial vehicles
- Load your vehicle and restrain your load correctly each day
- Deliver and pick-up consignments from local business, typically between 100 and 110 stops
- Deliver to service, following company procedure to ensure the safe and secure delivery of consignments without damage
Experience Required:
- Full manual UK Driving Licence - please note we do not accept licence endorsements for driving positions
- Proof of previous employment (up to 5 years) and valid DBS certificate
- A safety focused attitude with an understanding of our chain of responsibility
- Reliability with a can-do attitude and the willingness to go above and beyond for our customers
- A level of physical fitness allowing for this position that includes heavy lifting and manual handling
Although previous experience of a role in this sector is advantageous, we are happy to provide on the job training and support to applicants who can show a level of enthusiasm and determination for the industry.

As a self-employed PUD driver with us, your earnings are uncapped - Revenue is based either on the number of delivery and collection stops completed, or the number of days you chose to work. Our operation runs seven days a week across sites, and we are able to provide as much or as little work to suit.
- Day rate where the vehicle, insurances and fuel card is supplied by the company is currently 120 per day / 2520 per month based on 21 working days.
- Average stop rate for owner drivers [variable by postcode, con size and weight] is 2.05 per stop / 3875 per month based on 21 working days at 90 stops per day.
