Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of savoury pies according to established recipes. Ensure all ingredients are measured accurately and prepared in advance for efficient production. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the preparation and cooking process. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production and delivery of pies. Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve the perfect crust and filling consistency. Assist in the development of new pie recipes and menu items, contributing creative ideas to enhance our offerings. Keep the kitchen area clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, particularly in baking or pastry-making. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Familiarity with food production processes within a kitchen or restaurant setting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the capability to multitask effectively. A genuine passion for culinary arts, particularly in baking delicious pies.

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
