AGM Forbes is a diverse, family run farming business including an indoor750 sow herd (farrowing to finishing), 1000 acres of arable production, a 250kw AD Plant and a soft fruit enterprise which produced 400t of strawberries/year.
The Role
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pig Stock Person based in Dundee. The role involves daily management and care of pigs, including feeding, cleaning, monitoring health, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Ensuring compliance with welfare regulations and farm hygiene standards is essential. The Pig Stock Person will also assist with breeding, farrowing, and the weaning process as required, and collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall smooth operation of the farm.

Qualifications
Experience or proficiency in animal husbandry, including feeding, care, and health monitoring Knowledge of farm maintenance and livestock handling practices Strong attention to detail and ability to identify health or environmental issues Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour Experience with livestock is mandatory Willingness to comply with safety and biosecurity protocols A valid driver's license is desirable, but not mandatory

Pay: 28,000.00-34,000.00 per year
