We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate pilates and rehabilitation teacher to join our team, delivering a range of pilates sessions across our school community.

Main Duties



To Teach Pilates Mat work and small equipment classes to students as required on the timetable

Provide one-to-one Pilates sessions for physiotherapy-referred students, focusing on rehabilitation and tailored support.

Deliver targeted Pilates-based rehabilitation to children and young people form Year 7 to Year 14, supporting recovery, injury prevention, and physical development.

Work closely with the school physiotherapists and dance department to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to student care.

Maintain accurate records and administration for all sessions, including attendance, progress notes, and liaison with referring physiotherapists.

To attend relevant staff meetings, in-service training and to keep up to date with teaching, learning and safeguarding procedures.

To undertake any reasonable additional duties at the request of the Principal.

Person Specification



Recognised Pilates teaching qualification

Experience in delivering Pilates to children and young people.

Demonstrated ability to work with individuals referred for physiotherapy or rehabilitation.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to administrative detail.

Experience dealing with young elite athletes or dancers (preferred).

Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all children and young persons in the school.

Desirable skills:



Experience of working in a school environment

Track record of successful rehabilitation case studies

Professional dance experience
