Summary

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team in Burnham On Crouch. Based in Essex, this role is vital in ensuring accurate project cost assessments that align with our company's commitment to excellence and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for piling and foundation projects. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary data. Analyze project plans and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment costs. Monitor and update cost estimates throughout project lifecycle. Assist in bid preparation and submission processes. Identify potential cost savings and efficiencies. Ensure estimates comply with company standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Estimator within the piling or ground enginering industry. Strong understanding of piling, foundation works, and related materials. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Proficiency in estimating and geotechnical design software and MS Office suite. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to civil engineering projects is a plus.
