Overview

We are a small Piling and Groundworks company seeking an experienced Piler and also a Piling Front Man, to join our team operating in the Sussex and the surrounding counties. You must have a clean driving licence and be experienced with Mini Rigs as we specialise in restricted access. Our Rigs are CFA, Augered and Driven which are based in our yard just outside of Brighton. Due to the demand of our services you will be part of our growing team and be willing travel across the counties as clients dictate. Full commitment to the job is essential together with adaptability to changing circumstances. An honest and reliable approach is a must in order to keep to tight schedules. Duties

Operate pile driving equipment to install piles accurately and efficiently. Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working order before use. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project specifications are met. Monitor site conditions and adjust techniques as necessary to accommodate varying soil types and weather conditions. Conduct regular inspections of piles to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Be able to read Pile Layout drawings and associated documents. Assist in the preparation of site reports and documentation related to pile installation.

Skills

Proficient in operating heavy machinery, particularly pile driving equipment. Strong understanding of construction methods and site safety practices. Excellent physical stamina and strength, capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting to supervisors. Problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during the installation process.
