Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipefitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of piping infrastructure. Duties

Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to accurately assemble piping systems. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and install pipes in accordance with project specifications. Assist in the assembly and installation of piping components within construction or maintenance projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other relevant construction or maintenance tools. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications or qualifications in pipefitting are preferred Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces safely. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 16.36-28.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
