TSBC are a Glasgow based companycurrently looking for suitable candidates for our client.
Job Overveiw
BAE Govan/Scotstoun
12 month contract
Candidates must have industrial experience, previous shipbuilding experience is desirable.
Candidates must be time served and able to provide relevant certs to prove this on application
Candidates will be subject to security clearance prior to a start date
What you'll be doing:
Fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials (copper, cuni and carbon steel)
Using a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder and weld pipes
Installing utilities aboard ship - ie sinks, showers, toilets
Your skills and experiences:
Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation and use of associated equipment
Clear understanding of SHE risks
Understanding of manufacturing processes
Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
Background in a major construction/manufacturing environment
Rates
Umbrella (Local)
Basic - 26.89 , OT1 - 38.40 , OT2 - 50.98
Umbrella (Non-Local)
Basic - 37.75 , OT1 - 38.68 , OT2 - 51.25
Job Types: Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 26.89-37.75 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
