Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our dedicated team at RMC Mechanical Services Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining piping systems in various commercial settings. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality mechanical services.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain piping systems according to specifications and schematics, working on both heating and water systems. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations. Perform welding tasks as required to ensure secure pipe fittings. Conduct regular maintenance checks on existing piping systems to identify issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in the mechanical services industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various materials. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings proficiently. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required for installations. BDS clearance will be necessary and carried out immediately. Previous experience working in commercial/industrial settings is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 19.70-22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
