Job Description

Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and servicing of commercial kitchen ventilation systems. They offer a complete product portfolio including; Ventilation Canopies, UV technology, Heat Recovery, Service Distribution Units, Ventilated Ceilings, Pollution Control, Fire Suppression, demand-based ventilation and complete controls package. They can offer Maintenance and Service Contracts providing a total turnkey solution from concept to completion. Our client invests heavily in R&D, and have extensive testing facilities in Rochester, Kent.

Principal purpose or objective of the job

To supply the fit out of mechanical sections of Service distribution units and Waterwash extraction Canopies and fire suppression installations.

Main duties/key tasks/key result areas

Plumbing:

Plumbing 1st fix on Service distribution units - Including Gas, Hot water, Cold water and wastewater Manufacturing water wash panels + wiring into premade panels - solenoids, pumps and switches Manufacturing Cold mist panels + wiring into premade panels Stock maintenance for plumbing stock - Ordering stock, stock taking and assisting Stores with booking in Ansul Fire Suppression 1st + 2nd fixes - both R102 and Piranha Ansul Fire Suppression picklists for jobs - Both R102 and piranha Amerex Fire Suppression 1st and 2nd fixes Amerex Fire Suppression picklists - Not often anymore Electrostatic precipitator and spark arrestor drain installation Factory Maintenance - including airlines and water pipework Site work
Commissioning:

Programming control panels Wiring of control panels Designing of control panel equipment Pre commissioning and fault finding of Air handling units Canopy testing - capture jets Site work

Experience/Qualifications

Previous plumbing/pipefitting experience Full clean driving licence (If required to drive company vans if site visits required) CSCS card Desirable: Previous Ansul and Amerex experience Desirable: Technical knowledge of M&E systems, air movement, air conditioning and ductwork. Desirable: Level 2 Plumping Desirable: Gas Safe
