Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our Twi-light shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. The Pipefitter will collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure that all installations meet safety and quality standards.

Hours of work:

Mon - Thurs = 16.00pm - 12.00am

Fri = 13.30pm - 19.30pm

Hours worked outside of the above shall be paid at overtime rates

Duties

Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and schematics Perform TIG welding for tacking of fittings to pipe fabrications Conduct piping tasks including the installation of fixtures and fittings Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively Troubleshoot issues within piping systems and perform necessary repairs Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Proficiency in TIG welding techniques Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance tasks Familiarity with plumbing systems and assembly processes Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to installations Experience in construction environments is advantageous
