Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pipe systems and the ability to work with various materials and tools. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing piping systems in accordance with specifications and schematics. Your expertise in welding will be essential to ensure the integrity and functionality of our projects.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings to determine pipe layout and installation requirements. Assemble and install piping systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct pressure tests on installed systems to identify leaks or issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong understanding of basic mathematics for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting tasks. Ability to read and understand technical documents accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 22.00-24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
