This position as a skilled technician is vital to our mission of enhancing building efficiency and sustainability. Based in Bridgend, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that make a difference in local communities.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks to precise specifications. Read and interpret schematics for various technical projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and insulation systems commercial and industrial. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues. Support renewable technology installations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure project success.

Qualifications

ideal candidate will possess:

Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Knowledge of plumbing or maintenance is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safety standards. Previous experience in construction or technical services preferred.
