Position: Pipe Welder

Location: Deeside

Package: 24.00 per hour + Overtime (40% & 80%) + Productivity Bonus + Travel Allowance

Hours: 7am - 3.30pm Monday to Thursday / 7am - 12.30pm Friday (37.5 Hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

4Sure Recruitment is very excited to be partnering with an employer of choice as they expand into a new state of the art site in Deeside. My client currently supports with the project welding and pipe work for Hinkley Point C and has an increasing workload as new projects are planned.

Key Responsibilities: Pipe Welder:

Perform welds at each stage of manufacturing and construction. Welding of mechanical components for Hinkley Point C Supporting with Carbon Steel & Stainless-steel welding across the HPC Project MIG & TIG welding to a high standard Working from technical drawings and working to various tolerances Preparation and welding of fabrications, pipe spools and other mechanical components.

What We're Looking For: Pipe Welder:

3 years' welding experience (ideally in nuclear, maintenance, oil & gas, mechanical installation) -

Essential

Time served apprenticeship or Level 3 Diploma in Welding Engineering or other similar qualifications -

Essential

BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other similar qualification -

Desirable

Proven ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team Flexible and responsive to operational demands Strong organisational and time management skills
