We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and techniques. As a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding pipe systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Weld and assemble pipe systems using stick welding and other techniques. Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Perform quality checks on completed welds to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the welding process.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding, particularly with pipe systems. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques. Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations. Ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in welding applications. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
