Laker Vent Engineering Ltd is a mechanical contractor operating within the engineering construction industry. We specialise in the installation of highly regulated process piping systems, serving blue chip clients across the Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, and Petrochemical industries.

Role Overview

We are currently seeking experienced industrial Pipe Fitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation and testing of stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems and be capable of delivering work to the highest standards in line with QAQC requirements and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Install and test stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems on site. Interpret and work from technical drawings including Isometric Drawings (Iso's), P&IDs, etc. Deliver installations to the highest quality standards and in compliance with QAQC protocols.

Qualifications

Level 3 Trade Apprenticeship or equivalent. ACE Card or recognised industry equivalent. CCNSG Safety Passport, CSCS or equivalent certification. Proven experience in a similar role within a highly regulated industry.

Rates

NAECI categorised rates (2025) - Grade 5

Basic: 22.44 /hr OT1: 31.42 /hr OT2: 40.39 /hr IBA Payment: 2.37/hour Travel & lodge as per NAECI agreement Mon to Thurs- OT1 after 8 hrs Fri OT1 after 6 hrs Sat- OT1 first 4 hrs, OT2 all other hours (generally 4) Sun- All hours OT2

Working Hours

Minimum 100 hrs over 11 days 108+ hrs available over the same 11 day period

Week 1

Mon - Thurs : 10.5 hours Fri-Sun: 8 hours

Week 2

Mon - Thurs: 10.5 hours Fri-Sun: OFF
