Job Description

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Semi-Skilled Operative with basic pipefitting experience to join our growing engineering and infrastructure team.



This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical or site experience who's ready to develop their career in pipefitting and civil construction. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and site managers, gaining valuable practical skills and progressing towards a fully qualified trade or supervisory role.

North of Scotland

, with the opportunity for occasional travel across the country.

What You'll Do

Assist skilled tradespeople in pipefitting, installation, and repair of infrastructure systems. Support site preparation and assembly of pipework and fittings. Ensure correct use of tools, materials, and safety equipment at all times. Follow drawings and instructions accurately under supervision. Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment. Take part in training and development programmes to build technical skills and progress within the company.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need to be a fully qualified pipefitter yet -- we're looking for someone keen to learn, reliable, and practical.



You'll bring:


Basic pipefitting or mechanical experience (industrial, utilities, or construction background an advantage). A good understanding of tools and safety practices on site. The ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team. A positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning. Full UK driving licence required.
