Job Overview:



The Piping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, on schedule, and to the required standards. This hands-on role involves supervising trades, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining site documentation.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise on-site activities to ensure health, safety, and quality standards are met. Coordinate subcontractor work and make sure it follows the project plan. Conduct daily site briefings and safety talks. Monitor progress and report updates to the Site/Project Manager. Plan work in advance and ensure resources are available when needed. Issue work packs to tradesmen with necessary details and instructions. Handle day-to-day tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations. Supervise hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing. Maintain site records, including diaries, checklists, and inspection reports. Resolve on-site problems and escalate major issues to management. Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE

Requirements:



Experience in supervising hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing. Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety regulations, and site procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and leadership skills. Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNSG, CSCS card)

Rates:



PAYE (NAECI Categorised) Basic rate - 24.66 Rate A - 34.52 Rate B - 44.38 Hourly bonus - 2.37/hour subject to all hours being worked. Lodge - 80/night (taxable over 50.81) Travel & Fares - As per NAECI

Working Hours



9.5 hours per day Monday-Thursday 6 hours Friday 8 hours Saturday & Sunday, working every other weekend. Project Duration - 12 months (approx.)
