About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pitched Roof Estimator to take ownership of the tendering process for our pitched roofing projects -- from initial enquiry through to securing the purchase order.


We welcome applications from experienced pitched roofing estimators, estimators from related construction sectors seeking a new challenge, and university graduates looking to take their first step into the construction industry. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full estimating and tender process, ensuring projects are accurately scoped, specified, and competitively priced. Attend site visits to assess project requirements, take measurements, and meet clients to discuss proposals. Collaborate closely with suppliers and manufacturers to develop robust and tailored project specifications. Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business opportunities. Provide clear and detailed handovers to the Project Delivery Team to ensure smooth contract execution. Follow established estimating processes while contributing ideas to drive continual improvement.

What We're Looking For

Experience in estimating within roofing or a related construction trade (experience in pitched roofing preferred but not essential). Knowledge of roofing systems, including tiles, slates, and leadwork, would be an advantage. Confident and professional communicator. Commercially astute, well-organised, and able to work effectively to deadlines. Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and accuracy Full UK Driving Licence (required)
