Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pitched Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all types of Pitched roofs (Tiles/Slates/Plain tiles/Leadwork), with the ability to work with various materials and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, or replace roofs using materials such as Slate, tile or leadwork
- Measure and cut materials to ensure a proper fit
- Inspect roofs for damage and perform necessary repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow drawings, quotes, and building regulation
- Work on new construction projects or old properties
- Perform small amounts masonry or carpentry work related to roofing projects
- Lift heavy materials and equipment as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Roofer
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with reading drawings
- Capability for heavy lifting and physical labor
- Knowledge of roofing techniques including build and repair
- CSCS card required as minimum
- Driving license
