At Koka, we're a family-run restaurant blending Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, known for our
hand-stretched sourdough pizzas
and
pasta
. We're looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza & Pasta Chef to join our kitchen team and help deliver high-quality dishes to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present pizzas using sourdough bases to a consistently high standard
Make and cook a variety of fresh pasta dishes, sauces, and fillings
Keep preparation areas well organised
Follow food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures at all times
Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and daily prep lists
Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
Work closely with the Head Chef and support the wider kitchen team
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
pizza chef and/or pasta chef
in a fast-paced kitchen
Skilled in dough preparation, stretching, and working with pizza ovens
Ability to cook pasta dishes from scratch, with knowledge of Italian sauces
Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
Team player with a positive attitude
Able to handle busy services and follow kitchen routines
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (Level 2 or above preferred)
