Snap Pizza, an exciting new startup in Acton, is seeking an

experienced and skilled Pizza Chef

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in

pizza dough preparation, sauce creation, topping assembly, and operating pizza ovens

. We are looking for someone passionate about authentic pizza-making, adaptable to various pizza styles, and committed to delivering consistent quality.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Pizza Chef to showcase their culinary expertise, contribute to menu development, and grow with a dynamic and innovative brand.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare, mix, proof, and hand-stretch pizza dough to high-quality standards. Create signature pizza sauces from scratch, ensuring consistency and flavour excellence. Assemble and cook pizzas using traditional and modern techniques across multiple pizza styles. Maintain high-quality food presentation and ensure every pizza meets company standards. Operate pizza ovens efficiently (wood-fired, gas, or electric), adjusting temperatures and timings as required. Prepare additional menu items and support general kitchen operations when needed. Monitor ingredient freshness, rotate stock, and assist with daily inventory management. Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen, adhering to food safety and health regulations at all times. Assist in menu development, introducing new flavours, seasonal specials, and creative pizza combinations. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely food preparation. Qualifications & Experience



Proven experience as a Pizza Chef

or in a similar role, with strong knowledge of dough-making and pizza preparation techniques. Expertise in preparing sauces, toppings, and working with various pizza styles (e.g., Neapolitan, New York, Sicilian, Roman). Strong understanding of food hygiene, safety procedures, and kitchen best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to work as part of a team with a positive and professional attitude. Culinary training or a professional qualification is desirable but not essential. Previous experience in a startup or fast-casual environment is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 24,420.00 per year
