We are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. The Chef will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall operation of our kitchen.
Duties
Prepare, cook, and present a range of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
Oversee the proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients to minimise waste.
Collaborate with Front of House staff to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
Monitor stock levels and communicate with managers for ingredient replenishment as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff and ensuring team members follow health and safety procedures.
Experience
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a professional chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Experience with hand-stretching Pizzas is essential.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service principles.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills.
A level two food hygiene qualification is essential.
