Pizza Chef (Minimum of 30 Hours Per Week)

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Pizza Chef to join our team at Posillipo. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pizza preparation, dough handling, and oven cooking, with a passion for producing high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen environment. If you take pride in your craft and can work efficiently while maintaining excellent standards, we would love to hear from you.

Proposed rate is currently at the minimum wage, but open to negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas to a high standard Manage dough preparation, proving, and portioning Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pizzas Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

Previous experience as a pizza chef or in a similar role Strong knowledge of dough making, fermentation, and baking techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality Good communication and teamwork skills Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
