Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Duties

Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes according to recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing, sanitising, and storing utensils and equipment Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction Train junior kitchen staff and oversee their work as required Ensure consistent quality in food presentation and portion control

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a Chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Excellent skills in meal preparation, culinary techniques, and food presentation Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment, including restaurant experience preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills and team spirit Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required

Pay: 24,420.00-34,120.20 per year
