As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and menus Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and create innovative dishes Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices Assist with serving meals during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery to guests

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and cooking Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members Previous experience in meal preparation, kitchen management, or serving is highly desirable

Pay: 13.21-16.50 per hour
