Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our new kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and a love for Pizza Contemporanea with some innovative takes on classics

Ideally Needs to have experience in Neapolitan/Contemporanea style pizza

If not, basic Pat can be given on a trainee position

Times required will be from 10am until last orders: 9pm during weekdays, 10pm weekends. You will be needed to plan accordingly to make the appropriate amount of dough for service

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, demonstrating versatility in culinary skills.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, performing basic maintenance as required.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all meals served.

Min Hygene Level 2
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting, preferably with a focus on pizza preparation.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
- A passion for culinary arts and creativity in cooking styles.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the restaurant's schedule.

This is a full time position to spearhead something new for the area, all going well pay will be revisited after the first 6 months.
