• The preparation of local fresh produce and cooking of various cuisines to a very high standard.
• Running the pizza section and taking responsibility for all dishes in your section ensuring consistent presentation every time.
• Working within a team to ensure high standards are consistently met ensuring all meals are delivered on time.
• Manage food standards and quality across all stages of food preparation and production ensuring high standards are consistently met.
• Working alongside the Head Chef and team to create and develop daily and weekly specials.
• Ensuring minimum wastage and implementing new ideas for reducing wastage.
• Working within and maintaining all associated Health, Safety, and Hygiene guidelines/procedures while working.
• Comply with company food safety policies and legislation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness at all times and making sure your personal appearance and uniform is in line with the required hotel standards at all times.

The Person:Applicant must:

• Have at least 1-years' experience working as a Chef /Pizza Chef.
• Have experience working within a busy kitchen environment (preferred).
• Have a keen eye for detail and great organisational skills.
• Enjoy working as part of a team, be able to multi-task, and work well under pressure.
• Hold basic Food Hygiene Qualification or above.
• Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days/evenings and weekends.
• Must have a good, pleasant manner and be well presented.
