Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and in accordance with food safety regulations Assist in menu planning and develop new recipes to enhance our offerings Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Monitor ingredient stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods Serve food to guests when required, ensuring presentation meets quality standards Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a professional chef within a restaurant or similar environment Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Strong skills in meal preparation and culinary techniques Previous experience working in a fast-paced setting with excellent organisational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential if accompanied by substantial practical experience

Pay: 14.50-15.50 per hour
