Come join our team at the market cat we take pride in our preparation and production of our pizzas , everything is hand made from sauces to dough daily as we have become more established within the city our demand has increased and are looking to expand our team overall , shift patterns are flexible and regular scheduling is an option if it benefits both parties.

I'm looking for someone who has at least a basic knowledge of kitchens & hygiene practices, passionate about food and is happy to hold their own in a busy environment and work well alongside other staff members and colleagues (all other training regarding service and preparation will be provided on site)

In the future I am looking to expand our menu offering and you would play a vital on developing this and helping us deliver it efficiently to customers.

While relevant experience is a bonus, what matters most to us is attitude and enthusiasm.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. efficient workflow and timely service. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Ensure the kitchen is organised, clean, and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a food environment knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: 12.30-13.00 per hour
