Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza maker to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a love for creating delicious pizzas. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, maintaining proper stock levels. Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Assist with meal preparation and other food preparation tasks as required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavour and texture. Help train new kitchen staff in pizza preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Maintain kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferable but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent meal preparation skills with attention to detail in presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for culinary arts, particularly in pizza making, is highly desirable. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: 12.21-13.40 per hour
